Planning the Full Grid Before Production Keeps the Completed Image Visually Connected
- Ceiling system and tile format — suitability depends on the existing ceiling system, tile material, condition, dimensions, and surface, since graphics are printed directly onto the tiles.
- Panel count and layout — artwork can be divided across multiple panels to form a mural or continuous graphic, with the ceiling grid, panel positions, and viewing direction mapped before production.
- Fixtures — lights, vents, sprinklers, speakers, and other ceiling elements may interrupt the image, and their positions should be included in the layout so important details do not fall behind or too close to them.
